Great selection and awesome deals. Clock running when you add to you shopping cart is a bit much but overall good experiences are all Ive had.

The only criticism (other than the above norm pricing) is the shipping fees and taxes to Canada seem high. But that is not necessarily in the purvey of Gilt.

Great products overall, but many items are unable to be shipped to Canada. A little disappointing. Customer service is exemplary, though. Any issues are quickly resolved.

The app works fine for the most part. But, if you are not from the US, the app still automatically makes promises regarding discounts and free shipping for the next 1 hour after a purchase (not stipulating its only for US residents) but then it doesnt work if you arent from the US. I called customer service and even worse, the hold "music" says theres $5.99 international shipping for purchases over $100. But they dont stipulate that this is in US dollars (and dont stipulate what the conversion rate is on the app anywhere). I ended up paying 9.99 for Canadian shipping over $100 and they dont honour the 1 hour grace period for shipping for international customers. Super annoying. The customer service rep discounted shipping for my next purchase saying "they wouldnt do this again", to appease me, but super annoying that the app makes a promise with no stipulations, it doesnt apply to me and then I find out it should actually have probably converted to a bit less money in Canadian dollars than I was charged (5.99 to 9.99 is about a 40% conversion rate??). I got what I needed, but they need to fix the app to recognize where you are shopping from and not make promises they cant or dont want to deliver on.

Because of the duty fee, there is a big price gap between when you purchase from canada and us. A bag which is 1399 US dollar. But After duty fee and tax, there is 400 Canadian dollars gap for the same item. 400 dollars I can book a round trip to go to us by my owe to buy it.

For some brands the price is good but for such as LV, Chanel etc the price is the same as in the dept stores or boutiques :-( the rest is perfect
